The Dragon:
Lee, a member of the Shaolin Temple is asked by a man to
go to a tournament that is being on an island that belongs
to man named Han, who is a former Shaolin monk, who went
renegade. The man tells Lee that they believe that Han is
involved in Opium trade and white slavery. He wants Lee
to go there and try and get him the evidence they need so
that go there and arrest Han. Lee agrees but is then also
told that Han's men tried to abduct his sister three years
ago and rather than submit she committed suicide. Lee now
has a personal stake. Also going to the tournament is a
man named Roper who is in a financial bind with some men,
who collect one way or another, and Roper is hoping to find
a way out of the hole he is in.
Game of Death: In this movie he plays Billy Lo, a
HongKong based movie actor, who is a box office draw. His
girlfriend, Ann Morris is a singer who is also climbing
to the top. Now it seems the syndicate wants Billy and Ann
to join their "management firm". But Billy knows
that they will be treated like property, so he refuses and
tells her to do the same. So they try to "encourage"
him to join but he still refuses. He would be advised that
they will not stop, so he must stop them, permanently. He
is even more hesitant to do that but when an attempt on
his life is made, he fakes his death and alters his appearance,
and decides to go after the syndicate; taking them out one
at a time.
He was born 27th November 1940, and died 20th July 1973
under very dubious circumstances, his son, Branden also
died mysteriously.
