Stargate
SG1: General Hammond summons Colonel Jack O'Neill out of
retirement to embark on a secret rescue mission. O'Neill
confesses that he disobeyed orders to destroy the Stargate
on Planet Abydos, and that scientist Daniel Jackson may
still be alive. Arriving on Abydos with his team, O'Neill
meets up once again with the scientist, who has discovered
a giant elaborate cartouche in hieroglyphics. All signs
point to the fact that this is a map of many Stargates that
exist throughout the galaxy - a development that makes the
dream of the SG-1 team to travel throughout the universe
in time a reality...
Based
on the fantastic 1994 science fiction movie SG1 is one of
the longest ever running science fiction TV productions.
Syndicated all over the world is has gathered many hard
core fans.
Movie synopsis: A giant structure found in the desert has
studied by various scientist for nearly fifty years and
are no where near discovering what it is. Until Daniel jackson,
a language expert deciphers and reveals that it's a Stargate.
He also discovers how to make it work. They then learn that
it's some kind interstellar transport device. Now a group
of soldiers led by despondent Colonel Jack O'Neill go to
the planet, also accompanying them is Jackson, who said
that he can reactivate the Stargate to send them back but
he forgot to mention that he needs to find the symbols and
they can't find anything, so it appears that they are trapped.
And if that isn't enough, some aliens arrive and capture
them and have nefarious plans for Earth.
